Surviving Christmas Party Season

How to stay healthy in Christmas Party Season

One of the questions we get asked the most is, “how can I stay healthy when I go out for a meal?”

A great question, especially as we hit Christmas Party Season.  Work meals out, family meals out, friend group meals out, sports team meals out – you get the picture.

We recommend choosing foods that fall into these categories:

– Grilled
– Fresh
– Steamed
– Boiled
– Roasted
– Baked
– Sauteed
(Bonus points for organic, free range foods).

You will want to minimise foods that are:

– Fried
– Breaded
– Battered
– Covered in dressing
– Cheesy
– Stuffed
– Smothered
– Crispy

(Unless you are having a cheat meal).

Enjoy your meal!
