When Times Get Tough

When bad things happen we need to take time to process them and acknowledge the hurt. 

But don’t get stuck there.  

When you are ready – reframe the bad thing into a challenge.  Did a break-up hurt you so much you turned to food and put on lots of weight (this isn’t uncommon).  Flip your perception.  You are going to lose that weight and actually get in better shape than ever so that you can live the life you were born to live.  

As Joshua J. Marine indicated – challenges do make life interesting.  They hurt us, floor us and scare us.  But wait to you are on the comeback trail.  That’s what makes life meaningful.  When you conquer your biggest challenge, nobody will be able to stop you.
