"The fittest I have ever been, and I am 50!"

Damian knew he had to get into much better shape before he flew back to Australia.  Coming in at 22 stone and nearly 40% body fat, he knew he had to make a change and fast.  

With just seven weeks to go before he was due to head to Oz, Damian came to us for help.  His objective – to lose as much body fat as he could before he got on the plane.  

Seven weeks later – he dropped over two stone, got down to 21.5% body fat and improved his overall health and performance.  Here’s how he did it. 

An epic transformation

To facilitate Damian’s transformation we provided him with three training sessions per week with our Lead Trainer Mark Ames and created a nutrition and supplementation plan.  We identified that Damian had difficulty sleeping as well, so we worked on that with him.  Sleep and recovery is such an important part of achieving any fat loss or health goal.  

Damian’s training progressed in 3 phases, Phase 1 we emphasised leg training, Phase 2 we emphasised chest and back training and phase 3 we emphasised shoulders and arms training all in two week blocks. Nutritionally speaking we dropped carbs for the first 15 days and then added them back in after training and before bed to facilitate serotonin to aid sleep.
